Rangers fans were waking up this morning to a story about damage to a special Champions billboard outside of Ibrox Stadium ahead of a Scottish Cup Old Firm clash with Celtic.
The Gers are preparing to welcome their bitter rivals to the stadium this afternoon and ahead of the game damage appeared to club property with black paint.
They can vandalise and paint over banners, but they cant erase the history books, where it will say…..

However, in photos shared by Mark Dingwall, the editor of the Follow, Follow fanzine and forum, Rangers have moved quickly to respond to the damage this morning.
The Gers are already printing a new copy of the special billboard and according to Dingwall, this will be in place in time for the game.

It’s the perfect response for Rangers who’ve moved quickly to ensure that everyone knows exactly who the Champions of Scotland are ahead of the match.
As for the players and staff, they can use this disrespectful vandalism for extra motivation to secure the victory over Celtic this afternoon.
Not that they’ll particularly need it amid controversy regarding comments made by Celtic interim manager John Kennedy and the Parkhead side still being the best in the country.
Rangers full-back Borna Barisic described the comments as the “biggest joke” he’s heard this year and branded the suggestion “disrespectful” given Rangers’ dominance [Rangers].
Here’s how we’re predicting Rangers will line up for the clash with Celtic this afternoon with the prize for a victory safe passage to the next round of the Scottish Cup.
