Hamza Igamane is the name on everyone’s lips at Rangers right now.
The 22-year-old Moroccan striker has burst onto the scene at Ibrox with a series of impressive goalscoring displays at the top end of the park.
The busy striker has real quality on the ball and the ability to finish from anywhere, with excitement building at Rangers about where Hamza Igamane can take the club.
But whilst the hype continues around the ex-FAR Rabat hitman, Igamane’s feet are firmly on the ground with his big focus on making an impression at Ibrox.

Hamza Igamane’s Morocco ‘dream’
With one eye on the Europa League visit of Spurs, Hamza Igamane is hoping to fire Rangers to glory but also to catch the attentions of Morocco manager Walid Regragui.
Morocco have a young team of burgeoning talent and left a big impression on the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, defeating Spain to reach the Quarter Finals.
With plenty of attacking talent in their ranks, Hamza Igamane is hoping to join the likes of Brahim Diaz, Youssef En-Nesyri and Achraf Hakimi in representing his country.
In order to do so, Igamane will have to keep performing at Rangers and we’re sure the attentions of French-born coach Regragui are already turning towards Glasgow.
“Personally, I am of course pleased with the performances I have been giving recently,” Igamane told local Moroccan press, as quoted by the Herald.
“I have scored in my last two games and I am delighted with that.
“As I have said, I feel my adaptation process within the club has gone well and time seems to have passed quickly.
“My first goal is to continue helping my team. I think it has helped because all my teammates welcomed me warmly, helped me integrate and provided me with all the assistance I needed, as well as all the coaching staff.
“We have a lot of challenges ahead at Rangers.
“And looking ahead, the national team is the dream of any Moroccan player.
“Everyone wants to defend the jersey of their country’s team. I will continue to work hard to achieve this honour and represent the Moroccan national team.”
Rangers striker sets sights on Europa League
Next up for Hamza Igamane and Rangers is the Europa League visit of Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur.
The build-up to the match has been dominated by chatter surrounding Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou, who is under increasing pressure in North London.
With injury also enveloping the Tottenham team, Rangers legend Lee McCulloch reckons the Gers are facing Spurs are the best possible time.
Hamza Igamane will have his eye on a start at Ibrox following an impressive double in the 4-1 Europa League rout over OGC Nice.
And whilst the Moroccan hitman knows that the clash isn’t going to be easy, Igamane reckons there’s enough belief in the Ibrox camp to spring an upset.
“I know the game against Spurs will not be easy,” said Igamane.
“We are facing a team who are very strong and have had some good results in the Europa League.
“But we believe in our capabilities and we want to make our fans happy.
“And Spurs are also going into this game after a loss against Chelsea.”
