The Rangers goalkeeper position has been the subject of much debate this season after a serious downturn in the form of Jack Butland.
Butland, 32, was named Rangers’ Player of the Year last season but had a woeful campaign defined by a string of high profile errors which eventually led to the stopper being dropped for Liam Kelly.
But whilst the debate rages over who should be between the sticks at Ibrox next season, one young Rangers goalkeeper is attracting glances south of the border.

Rangers goalkeeper wanted in Premier League
Rydnn Maguire is amongst the brightest young prospects in the Rangers academy and the goalkeeper has been turning heads in the Premier League.
According to the Rangers Review, Arsenal, Everton and Ipswich Town are all keeping tabs on Maguire after his penalty kicks heroics in the Glasgow Cup Final v Celtic.
The report suggests that Rangers would demand ‘seven-figures’ for the 17-year-old stopper, who has been involved in the Rangers squad at times this season.
Learning under Butland and Kelly, Maguire was convinced to sign his first professional contract back in January and Rangers would hope to lean on this in any negotiations.
It’s also claimed that Rangers could yet extend Maguire’s contract, with the young Scotland stopper very highly regarded at Auchenhowie.
Rangers face Brexit battle to stave off Premier League academies
Rangers have gotten used to English academies casting glances north as they look to raid Scotland for the best young talent.
The likes of Billy Gilmour (Chelsea) and Rory Wilson (Aston Villa) are stand out examples but Rangers are protected by the contract Maguire signed earlier in the season.
Brexit rules mean English academies are looking at Scotland where they can avoid hefty compensation fees for young talent on the verge of signing their first professional contracts.
Whilst the future of Rydnn Maguire remains uncertain for now, Rangers are braced for increasing English interest in their top young players.
But can the lure of a pathway at Ibrox convince the club’s top young players to stick around?
Rangers have managed to convince several youngsters to stay in Glasgow over the years, with a pathway to the first team convincing the likes of Leon King and Bailey Rice to sign on at Ibrox.
