Rangers forward Kemar Roofe has been named as the Star Man in the SPFL Team of the Week for his outstanding display against Aberdeen on Sunday.
Roofe scored the second goal in a 4-0 win for the Gers on home turf, as they extended their lead at the top of the Premiership table to 11 points.

It was the 27-year-old’s sixth goal since signing for the club from Anderlecht in the summer and his fourth direct goal contribution in two matches.
He was one of four separate goalscorers on the day as Ryan Kent, Scott Arfield and James Tavernier all also came up trumps for Steven Gerrard.
Yet, even though he was withdrawn from the action after 74 minutes, he was the only Rangers player to make it into the TOTW and so sparkling was his individual showing, he was named the best performer across all four SPFL divisions at the weekend.
It’s fair to say that, calf injury aside, Roofe has enjoyed an excellent start to life in Scottish football and many supporters will be hoping to see him named in the starting XI once again for Thursday night’s Europa League clash against Benfica.

The former Leeds United star linked up well with Alfredo Morelos at Ibrox at the weekend and it’s a partnership which could turn out to be key over the course of the season.
