Brondby heads into the decisive tie with Rangers on the back of a four-match domestic winning run in a stark warning to the challenge facing Rangers in Denmark.
With the recent wins against Vejle BK, Viborg, Copenhagen, and Aalborg Freja, The Danes have been impressive recently.

They are currently performing below expectations, but, these important victories will build momentum.
Steven Gerrard’s side travels to the Danish City in the hope of making it back-to-back wins against Brondby with the club’s Group A future hanging in the balance. A win here could help tip the scales.
The Brondby manager, Niels Frederiksen spoke after the vital win against Viborg.
“We are getting better and better. It looks better and better and our relationship with the ball is getting better and better,” said Frederiksen [3point].
“We need a lot of points to get into the top six, but I’m definitely more confident now.”
This could give the Danish side a confidence booster heading into Thursday’s clash, with a win required for Brondby to remain in contention for qualification.
Rangers can take step closer to Europa League knockouts with Brondby victory
The previous Europa League match for both sides saw Rangers prevail rather comfortably in a straightforward 2-0 win. With Balogun and Roofe scoring in the first half, the rest of the match was seen out with relative ease.
This was a much-needed victory after losing the opening two ties in the group to Lyon and Sparta Prague.

Steven Gerrard’s side hasn’t quite clicked into top gear on the continent this season compared with the scintillating form over the previous two seasons.
With the standards being set high in Europe for Gerrards’ men since he took over, this season has been somewhat of a comedown. With a win over Brondby this Thursday, the onus will be on Rangers to push on and recapture the form of previous seasons.
Rangers will need to be at their very best, as Brondbys’ recent form has improved, including in this win over Copenhagen
