Barisic is amongst the club’s most important players and valued assets and it remains unclear if the Premier League newboys will return with another bid.

It is the second Rangers player for whom Leeds have seen a bid thrown out already this season with the Elland Road club also expressing an interest in Ryan Kent.

Similarly to Borna Barisic, Kent is a key Rangers asset and Leeds’ reported bid of £10m was “strongly rejected” by the Gers.

The Ibrox legions rate the flying left-back highly and see Barisic as a vital part of how the Gers play.

They’ve told Leeds to either shoo off or cough up if they want to sign one of the Rangers support’s favourite players:

Rangers full-back Borna Barisic joined the Ibrox club from NK Osijek after the Gers faced the Croatian outfit in Europa League Qualifying in 2018.

The defender had a difficult first season in royal blue but exploded onto the scene in the last campaign after a stunning free-kick goal against St. Mirren in August 2019.

The defender signed a new contract at Rangers last season, tying him to the club until 2024.
