Rangers fans are being urged to be patient over the Betfred Cup Final ballot after it was confirmed emails are now being sent out.
Rangers are preparing for a monumental Old Firm League Cup Final against rivals Celtic in a repeat of the 2011 final.
The Ibrox club were 2-1 victors at Hampden that day, and Gers fans will be finding out throughout tonight if they’ve nabbed a ticket to what will hopefully be a repeat.
As Rangers SLO Greg Marshall explains, it “takes hours” before all the emails regarding the ballot have been sent.
With Celtic looking to make it 10 domestic trophies in a row, and Rangers looking to stop Celtic’s momentum in their charge for 10 league titles in succession, it makes this final a symbolic one for both clubs.
If Rangers can defeat Celtic at Hampden and secure that first piece of major silverware since 2012, it gives us hope that we can stop our Parkhead rivals in the Scottish Premiership too.
For Celtic, it gives them momentum and their fans will begin talking about another treble.
This blockbuster encounter between the two sides may well be the biggest since Rangers climbed the divisions.

Hampden will be rocking for the tie with tickets gold dust for hungry Gers fans desperate to see their side lift silverware.
Good luck to everyone in the ballot.
