Rangers fans have been urging long-term summer target and Amiens midfielder Bongani Zungu to join the club after his latest Tweet.

The South African international has been linked with Rangers since the start of July with the Gers reportedly having a £3.8m bid accepted for the player [Scotsman].

But confusion reined amid a series of conflicting reports which claimed either the club failed to agree personal terms, the player failed a medical, or that Rangers were never interested.

Since then Rangers have been tipped to re-enter the race for the player after the Ligue 2 side’s president Bernand Joannin admitted Amiens had to sell before they could buy.

“Before recruiting anyone else, we have to sell and that means the players who don’t want to be here,” he said, as quoted by the Daily Record.

“There is no longer any question of keeping players who have their heads elsewhere.”

The Ibrox side were said to be interested in taking the player on loan but with his contract at Amiens expiring come the end of the season, the French side are believed to be reluctant.

Now, Zungu has taken to social media to say “make your dream a reality” after he made a brief cameo appearance in Amiens’ Ligue 2 draw with Pau over the weekend.

It’s not the first time the midfielder has been cryptic on social media with the player previously sending Rangers fans into overdrive after liking a Tweet which suggested he should join the Gers.

This time around it’s the Rangers fans once again urging Zungu to join the club after he took to the social media platform amid the Ibrox club’s hunt for a new midfielder.
