As Rangers ran out 2-1 winners at Ibrox it was Ryan Kent who stole the show with a wonderful eventual winner at Ibrox – but one Scottish Premiership rival once again caught the eye of bluenoses.

Easter Road striker Kevin Nisbet, 24, continues to develop as a forward at this level and showed his prowess to score a fine header and become only the 3rd opposition player to score at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership this season.

But it wasn’t just in scoring that Nisbet caught the eye, the striker showing his sharpness and ability to strike the ball on more than a few occasions in the match.

Whether dragging the ball just past the post or forcing a fine save from Allan McGregor from a free-kick, Nisbet showed his range of striking abilities in the Scottish Premiership clash.

The forward – who was recently capped with Scotland for the first time – is an agile player with an eye for goal, something evidenced by his 15 goals in green this season.

Rangers were said to be watching the striker during his time at Dunfermline [Glasgow Times] before he moved to Hibs and supporters are once asking the question over an Ibrox move:

Should the Ibrox club ever reignite their reported interest in the player they certainly won’t be without competition.
