Rangers have invited supporters to take part in the preparation for a special display marking Remembrance Sunday as the club welcome Hearts to Ibrox.
The Gers claim it is an ‘honour’ to continue the long-held tradition of honouring the dedication of the British armed forces who made the ultimate sacrifice in the name of our country.
As part of that, Rangers are set to unveil a special Remembrance Sunday card display with the Ibrox side publicly appealing to supporters to lend a hand in its construction.
Asking some fans to arrive at the ground as much as four and a half hours before the 5pm kick-off at Ibrox, Rangers supporters will be eager to see how the club marks this most important occasion.

Rangers in Remembrance Sunday appeal
A statement to supporters reads:
“Rangers Football Club is honoured to continue the tradition of hosting our annual Remembrance Day event at Ibrox, paying homage to those who valiantly served their country.
“In keeping with the traditions of the day, the club are planning a Remembrance card display for the Rangers v Heart of Midlothian fixture on Sunday 10th November, and are in need of volunteers to assist in the setup of this display.
“Anyone who is willing to get involved in this Remembrance tribute is asked to please sign up HERE.
“Volunteers should arrive at Main Stand Reception at 12.30pm on Saturday 9th November, where work will then begin on setting out the display through until 5pm (or until display is completed).
“Thank you for your continued and loyal support.”
Hearts fans wanted over ‘unacceptable conduct’
At the same time as Rangers have appealed to supporters to lend a helping hand for the Remembrance Sunday display at Ibrox, Hearts have also been warning travelling supporters about their conduct.
The Jambos fans will make the short trip down the M8 from Edinburgh with new manager Neil Critchley insisting the Tynecastle club have a plan to leave Glasgow with all three points.
But before the Scottish Premiership clash, Hearts have encouraged their supporters to engage with the special Remembrance Sunday display and like Rangers, pay homage to those who served their country.
An excerpt from a Hearts statement to supporters reads:
“This is Rangers’ Remembrance fixture. A minute’s silence will be held prior to kick-off as a mark of respect. We thank supporters in advance for their co-operation with this.
“Unacceptable conduct will result in ejection from the stadium and any supporter who has been ejected will face sanctions in accordance with our unacceptable conduct policy.”
