Just as Rangers fans thought nothing Celtic related would crop up giving them entertainment today, enter prominent Parkhead fan Tommy Sheridan.
The former leader of the Scottish Socialist Party is a very vocal supporter of Old Firm rivals Celtic and the outspoken celebrity fan would return with another video amid his club’s latest debacle.
Just as Dubai-gate was winding down up popped Neil Lennon reigniting the flame as he railed against the coverage afforded the Parkhead club in the aftermath of the trip.
Sheridan – a loyal supporter of Neil Lennon – would pop up just in time to rally the troops as he tried to regain a semblance of sanity in an otherwise crazy Celtic season.
But calling for fans to unify around the club wasn’t enough for Sheridan who also worked in his trademark dig at The Rangers in his trademark drawl.
Not only that, but Sheridan appears to completely fabricate a story about Rangers using EBTs during their 9IAR run.
The tax avoidance scheme – for which Rangers have been punished aplenty for let’s be fair here – was first employed in 2001, four years after the Gers completed the feat.
“Some of the people having a go are talking about morals, standards and fairness,” starts Sheridan [YouTube].
“The same people who won championships when they got their 9IAR by not paying their bloody taxes, by paying players in loans instead of wages so that they could put it in offshore accounts so that they could avoid paying the taxman so the schools and the hospitals were denied money.
“But they tell us now, these people, these pundits pontificate about standards and morals, are you having a laugh?”
Well, cheers for the entertainment Tommy but something tells us this isn’t a parody or satire but that you’re actually out here spreading misinformation to forward your own point.
It’s not been missed by Rangers fans who – amongst some being buckled by the video – have pointed out that his dig at the Ibrox club isn’t exactly based in fact:

Well if you give it out, you’ve got to at least expect something back.
Sheridan isn’t the only Celtic fan losing the head at the moment as Rangers fans reacted in amazement to the reaction of the club’s manager to the fall-out from Dubai.
