Rangers fans have been sending their congratulations to club legend and goalkeeper Allan McGregor as he makes his 400th appearance for the club.
The legendary 38-year-old stopper managed to keep a clean sheet as the Gers ran out 2-0 winners at St. Mirren and made it 13 wins on the bounce in the Scottish Premiership.

It’s been an impressive season to this point for the goalkeeper, who is in his second spell at Ibrox after coming through the youth ranks at the club as a young professional, with McGregor keeping 13 clean sheets in 21 games.
McGregor made 278 appearances in first spell at Ibrox winning 11 trophies over 11 playing seasons and he has now made over 120 since returning to the club in 2018.
McGregor – who also has 49 caps for the Scottish national team – has been a vital part of the team built by Steven Gerrard and remains a class act between the sticks despite his age.
Despite the achievement, a humble McGregor still claimed that the win was the most important thing as he discussed making his 400th appearance post-match.

“I’m more pleased with the win rather than the other two (appearance and clean sheet achievements),” said McGregor [Rangers].
“But 400 games is a good achievement and definitely one to look back on when you’re retired, so I’m pleased.
“I think we’ve played a lot better than that this season but the most important thing is the win. We say that every time.
“It’s more important than a clean sheet. I’d rather win 2-1 than draw 0-0, so the most important thing is the three points.”
Rangers fans paid tribute to the goalie on Twitter as they saluted McGregor for his commitment to the club:
