Rangers fans are furious after the club dropped yet more points in the Scottish Premiership draw with Motherwell.

The Ibrox side had to come back from 2-0 down after an abysmal first half showing was rescued by a second half double from Moroccan substitute Hamza Igamane.

The result leaves Rangers 14 points behind runaway leaders Celtic in the Scottish Premiership with an Old Firm derby clash set for Thursday afternoon.

Before then the pressure is mounting on Belgian manager Philippe Clement with fans turning on the ex-Club Brugge boss in their numbers.

But given the swell of fan frustrations, the microscope is also firmly on what incoming Rangers CEO Patrick Stewart does next.

Philippe Clement & Patrick Stewart under microscrope

Furious Rangers fans are increasingly calling on Patrick Stewart to make the call and give Philippe Clement his jotters.

The Belgian manager has just seen any faint hope of a title challenge collapse in 180 minutes with the Gers now in a battle for a Champions League qualification spot.

It’s not just Philippe Clement who is under pressure at Rangers with Patrick Stewart very much under increasing scrutiny.

It’s clear that Rangers fans want action taken with the club’s abysmal away form essentially ensuring this season’s league campaign is over before Hogamany.

It’s an unacceptable position for Rangers to find themselves in in any circumstance and fans are on the verge of a full on revolt.

Taking to social media platform X at full-time, the message is clear.

Rangers fans call on Patrick Stewart

One Rangers fan has urged Stewart to ‘get onside’ with the support by bringing in a manager who can get consistent results, adding ‘enough is enough’.

Another despondent supporter claims that if Stewart doesn’t give Clement the chop then he is also ‘not the answer’.

Plenty have urged the incoming Rangers CEO to ‘act’ with the club’s position in the Scottish Premiership table unacceptable as Celtic march towards yet another title with meek resistance from Ibrox.

One supporter pretty much sums up how the bulk of Rangers fans are feeling with standards dropping by the week at Ibrox.
