Generally, that’s been the overwhelming message from our torn-faced rivals from across the city ever since we despatched them 2-1 at Celtic Park in December.
But has one of their own players just highlighted the astonishing hypocrisy of the entire thing after scoring against Partick Thistle?
Celtic fans have put immense pressure on the SFA to retrospectively punish Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos for gesturing in that iconic victory.
Kent did a gun salute as he raced away after firing Rangers in front whilst Morelos did a game over gesture as he made his way off the field following a red card.
The embarrassing fall-out from those Celtic fans still licking their wounds after the result has been monumental.
So much so Rangers are outraged the duo have been named alongside trumped-up SFA charges over the incidents at Celtic Park [SFA].
Following his strike against the Jags, Celtic star Leigh Griffiths put his fingers in his ears as if to silence those critics who’ve been writing him off.
Rangers fans have been quick to pick up on the gesture and are asking the question over what Griffiths meant by it.
Was he trying to say the Partick Thistle fans couldn’t sing? Was he trying to mock deaf fans at the match? Was he making violent gun gestures into his own ears?
