Rangers fans have heaped praise on Scottish Premiership rivals Livingston for a “classy” gesture ahead of the Ibrox club’s 3-0 win in West Lothian.

The Champions were given a respectful reception by the hosts as a James Tavernier penalty, Ryan Kent strike and Ianis Hagi goal secured all three points.

The Gers put in an efficient performance which broke two major records for the club as Steven Gerard’s side reached a record points total (99) and broke the Scottish clean sheet record (25).

These records are befitting this Rangers side who continue to develop and continue to grow under the stewardship of Steven Gerrard.

The manager spoke after the match about wanting more from his players and setting them the target of beating that 100-point barrier this weekend against Aberdeen.

Prior to the match in Livingston, the Lions performed a tribute worthy of the Champions as they gave the Ibrox club a guard of honour.

This in turn earned the applause of Rangers fans as the Ibrox support appreciated the sentiment from their Premiership rivals:

Rangers were very impressive against Livingston as they go into the final game with Aberdeen knowing they’ll go the league season unbeaten if they avoid defeat.

One key Ibrox star turned utility man earned the applause of Gerrard in the aftermath of the game for his contribution to the victory.
