Over 42,000 Rangers fans have renewed their season tickets as the remarkable Ibrox support answers the club’s call during one of the most difficult periods in sporting history.

With no guarantee of when fans will be allowed back into the ground, Rangers fans have pledged their financial support to the team regardless.

An incredible 23,000 Rangers fans have also signed up to the new MyGers membership scheme as the club’s fans provide incredible financial support to their team.

Rangers commercial and marketing director James Bisgrove explained that this is an example of the “loyalty and the power” of the Ibrox support.

Speaking as the club launched their new digital transformation, Bisgrove described the sales and the launch of the new club website alongside the evolved club Ready crest as having the “hallmarks” of an elite European club.

“It’s another incredibly exciting announcement for the club,” said Bisgrove [Rangers].

“It’s one that when you take a step back, when we talk about being the best in class and being a leading a European club, and actually then looking at what the last few months have brought us.

“Over 42,000 season tickets renewed now, the MyGers membership being at 22, 23,000, and also our new kit and retail partner Castore and some of the anticipation we’ve seen behind that.

“We’ve also had a number of commercial partners come into the club – the likes of the Energy Check – and we’ve got a few others in the pipeline.

“All of that said, those are probably hallmarks of a top tier club and I think are a testament to the loyalty and the power of the Rangers support.”

Going into greater detail about the digital transformation of the club, Bisgrove is just one of a number of speakers on a very well presented, in-depth look at why Rangers are evolving.

The club deserves massive credit for this and the vision and direction Rangers are moving in is being built on a foundation of the club’s heritage and supporters’ wishes.

With the constant ambition to be “best in class”, Bisgrove has discussed the need for the club to always be evolving off the park.

“What we have to be cautious of is standing still,” said Bisgrove.

“We’re operating in a very fast-moving environment, consumer habits are changing, the way that football fans are engaging and interacting with football is also changing.

“So we need to continue to grow and we need to continue to evolve off the pitch to be the best.

“That’s why we’re incredibly proud and incredibly excited to unveil our new website as part of our digital transformation strategy but also in parallel our new brand evolution as well.

“It’s an investment in the future of the club as we look ahead to the 150th anniversary year and we feel it gives us some great foundations to modernise and move forward.

“But in doing so staying very true to our core, our history, our heritage and our values – we haven’t wanted to step too far away from that – but at the same time being able to evolve and modernise we think is very important.”

The launch of the new Rangers website, typeface and evolution of the club’s iconic Ready crest was largely well-received by fans who now want to see this change in direction off the park translated into trophies on it.
