Rangers fans have rejoiced after images released on the Rangers FC Twitter on Tuesday afternoon, showed Ryan Jack back in training ahead of the trip to Kilmarnock.
The influential midfielder has missed the last four matches after a flare-up of a calf injury during the first half of the defeat at Hearts last month.
Jack missed fixtures against Ross County, his old club Aberdeen, and last week, games against Hibernian and Hamilton.
However, having been declared available by Steven Gerrard on Tuesday morning [RangersTV], he looks set to return at Rugby Park.
It’s a major boost considering how outstanding the Scotland international was over the first half of the campaign.
He provides a great shield for the back four, has expanded his passing range and is now also contributing in the final third, scoring five goals and registering four assists prior to his injury.
An automatic pick when fit, the lack of conditions surrounding the declaration of his fitness, suggests he could come straight into the XI for what promises to be a challenging away game.
Killie have won their two previous league fixtures this month and earned a Scottish Cup replay with a 0-0 draw at Pittodrie at the weekend.
