Rangers fans have rejoiced after details were released for the Scottish Cup quarter-final clash against Hearts at the end of the month.
The club confirmed the news via a tweet from the official club account on Friday afternoon. The game is to be played at Tynecastle on Saturday 29th February with a 17:30 kick-off and will be televised by Premier Sports.
Itโs a tie that has taken on even more significance in light of recent league results.
The Gers comfortably negotiated their two previous rounds of Cup action, defeating Stranraer 2-0 before running away 4-1 victors at Hamilton.
However, itโs been a different story altogether in the league, with two defeats and a draw in the last five games.
Daniel Stendelโs Hearts were responsible for one of those defeats and the Jambos have secured four points from two meetings with the Gers in Edinburgh this season.

Therefore, this represents a major opportunity for revenge for Steven Gerrardโs side, with the Scottish Cup now clearly the clubโs best remaining chance of silverware this season.
Bears rejoiced on social media when the details were released, but the celebrations werenโt anything to do with Premier Sports selecting the game for live coverage.
Itโs the late Saturday afternoon kick-off time which has supporters excited.

The scheduling gives travelling fans plenty of time to enjoy the build-up on matchday, while if thereโs a big win to be celebrated, most wonโt have to feel the effects in work the next day.
