Rangers fans react to Ryan Kent’s performance v Ross County

Rangers winger Ryan Kent was the hero of the day after his deflected winner against Ross County earned the Gers a much-needed if not convincing victory.

The second-half strike proved to be the only goal of a game which for Rangers was more about the result than the performance.

Rangers have lost their last two matches 1-0 and the early indication at Ross County was that something similar might well have happened up in Dingwall.

And save for two McGregor saves in crucial periods of that match, it could well have.

But for all the huffing and puffing Rangers did run out deserved victors and although miles off where Steven Gerrard will want his team, it’s a step in the right direction.

Not everything came off for Ryan Kent throughout the match but the tricky winger persevered to force the ball into the back of the net in the 77th minute.

His perseverance summed up the hard work of a Rangers side who were rewarded for an extended period of pressure and domination in the middle of the second half.

The wee man has come in for a lot of stick recently and deserves credit for how he kept showing for the ball even when it wasn’t working for him.

These Rangers fans certainly appreciate the reported £7m winger’s contribution:
