Rangers will finally have supporters back inside Celtic Park for the upcoming Old Firm derby next month.
An agreement was struck between both clubs to end the recent lockout of both Rangers and Celtic supporters following a discussion over health and safety issues among other points.
The decision was to have fans from both sides miss out on major derby days which was a no-win situation from the tit-for-tat arguments.
Now, though, Rangers have reached an agreement that will see four percent of saleable capacity will be given to both clubs at their opponents’ ground.
That means around 2400 Light Blues supporters will take in the derby on March 16 at Celtic Park. The following game between the two clubs at Ibrox will also see just over 2000 Celtic fans inside the ground.

Rangers fans react to away support back at Celtic Park after Old Firm lockout
Fans have had their say on the decision to allow away punters back following the lockout with the vast majority seemingly being pleased with the call.
One fan took to social media to say: “A huge moment for Scottish football. The Old Firm derby’s electric atmosphere is back!”
Another added: “Finally bit common sense. 2500 better than f— all.”
One commented: “Nice to see Celtic finally end their tantrum,” as a fourth added: “Brillant for the lads who follow Rangers everywhere, tickets will be like goldust though.”
One supporter doubted his chances of landing a brief, saying: “Be easier to get tickets for Oasis! Good to have the bears there to support the team.”
Rangers’ statement on away fan tickets as Barry Ferguson reacts to news
Rangers released a brief statement earlier this morning to confirm the news.
It read: “Rangers supporters will be able to attend our match with Celtic on March 16, with the two clubs agreeing for a reciprocal percentage of tickets to be allocated to away fans.
“Approximately four per-cent of saleable capacity at both stadia will be given to the visiting club, with everyone at Rangers looking forward to having the backing of our supporters in the East End of Glasgow in just over a fortnight’s time.
“The arrangement will then be repeated for the Old Firm derby at Ibrox following the split.”
Interim boss Barry Ferguson was pleased with the news as he was asked at his press conference to discuss the previous ticket issues.
He said: “Good to hear. It’ll be good that the fans take part. I’ve always said it’s something that the fixtures miss. In an ideal situation, it would be great if there was more.
“The way it is, the way it’s happened, you can earn many tickets per game. I’m just glad that away supporters are allowed back.”
