Rangers flop Eduardo Herrera has announced he set to leave loan club Nexaca and with six months remaining on his Ibrox deal fans are musing over the idea the Mexican will be back at Rangers soon.
With his loan deal set to expire at Nexaca in the winter window, Herrera took to Twitter to thank the Liga MX side [Twitter].
It is highly likely that Herrera will either go out on loan to somewhere else or have his contract terminated come January, but it hasn’t stopped Rangers fans joking that he’ll be here for 55.

Eduardo Herrera was one of Pedro Caixinha’s marquee signings when he joined Rangers from Mexican side Pumas for a reported £1.5m.
The move turned out to be a disaster and after one season in Glasgow, Herrera has spent the last year and a half on-loan at Nexaca and Santos Laguna.
Alongside fellow flop Carlos Pena – for whom Rangers spent a reported £2.2m to bring to Glasgow – they will go down as amongst the most expensive and reckless in Rangers history.

Neither made any sort of productive impact in Glasgow and in hindsight both were terrible matches for a club like Rangers.
If Eduardo Herrera can’t get a loan move out of Ibrox he may well follow countryman Pena in that his contract at Rangers could eventually be terminated.
