Rangers fans have reacted on Twitter to Jordan Jones’ excellent performance after returning to the Gers starting XI in the 5-1 win over Motherwell.
Jones has been linked with a move away from Ibrox throughout the summer [TEAMtalk] and has been on the fringes of the first team for a considerable period.

However, after a promising cameo against Willem II on Thursday night, he was handed his first Premiership appearance of the season and first start in any competition for the club since January.
It was clear from the opening stages that Jones was keen to make an impact from the right flank at Fir Park and he got on the scoresheet in fine style in the 28th minute.
The Northern Ireland international raced in behind to latch onto a well-weighted Scott Arfield pass, leaving Ricki Lamie for dead before composing himself and side-footing a fine left-footed finish in off the far post.
It was a superb first goal in Rangers colours for the 25-year-old, especially after such a long time out of action.

In the second half, he continued to cause problems for the Motherwell defence, picking up good positions and making dangerous runs off the ball.
Jones’ end product isn’t always accurate from wide areas and the majority of his crosses and attempted through balls in the second period didn’t manage to find their intended targets.
He made a telling contribution in the game, though, and provided Rangers with a dynamism they’ve often lacked in away domestic fixtures.
Jones was substituted in the 76th minute but many fans were delighted with the winger’s efforts and praised him heavily on social media.
