The Scottish Sun reports that Rangers midfielder Jason Holt is set to join QPR.
That’s after he didn’t travel with the Gers squad to the pre-season training camp in Portugal.

It’s suggested that he’s to reunite with former Ibrox boss, Mark Warburton, who has already brought Lee Wallace and Liam Kelly south of the border [BBC Sport].
It would be a big move for the 26-year-old. Particularly, as he spent last season playing under Joey Barton at Fleetwood Town in League One.

Therefore, a switch to Championship side QPR would represent a rise in standard. It shows the level of faith Warburton has in the midfielder. Holt was a regular under him at Ibrox after signing from Hearts in 2015.
Steven Gerrard hasn’t found room in his plans for the Scot, though.

He hasn’t made an appearance under the new regime and it looks as though his four-year stint is coming to an end.
While the
move is understandable given Rangers’ strength in depth in midfield, plenty of Bears had praise for Holt’s professionalism after the reports emerged.
