Injury ruined Jamie Murphy’s 2018/19 season.
The 29-year-old winger was unable to build on a promising start to life at Ibrox during the second half of last season, because of a serious knee problem picked up at Kilmarnock in August.

Just a handful of games into the season and Steven Gerrard’s reign, Murphy was stricken.
He’s had to watch on ever since, while Ryan Kent has made the left flank his own.
However, there’s now some light at the end of the tunnel.

The timing of his return is unfortunate, considering he will have to wait several months before he gets an opportunity to play.
Yet, after so much treatment and rehab, you get the impression he’s just happy to be able to kick a ball again.
On Sunday, he posted a heartfelt thank you message on Twitter to the club’s medical staff. With his return to fitness seemingly complete, plenty of Bears are buzzing about what he will offer the side next season.
