Rangers fans have responded en masse to tweets from skipper, James Tavernier, which provided updates on his comeback from injury.
The 28-year-old is currently on the sidelines having undergone minor surgery on an appendix problem which appeared following the squad’s return from a training camp in Dubai.

He missed the Scottish Cup Fourth Round tie against Stranraer as well as the Gers’ first Premiership fixture of 2020 against St Mirren, and he’s set to sit out several more fixtures over what is a busy few weeks.
This is the first real injury the right-back has had for several seasons and his absence has been keenly felt.
Bears criticised Jon Flanagan heavily for his display against St Mirren, with the ex-Liverpool man unable to provide anywhere near the attacking threat from the right that supporters have become accustomed to seeing from Tav.

Therefore, when he took to social media with a pair of classy messages, thanking the surgeon and staff who helped with the procedure, as well as those who have sent him supportive words, fans pleaded for his speedy return.
