Rangers finally returned to winning ways at Ibrox this evening.
The Gers ended a five-match winless streak by sweeping aside Hearts.
Ahead of kick-off, plenty of Bears weren’t happy with the team Steven Gerrard selected.

However, they were on the front foot from the off, against Craig Levein’s toothless side.
There were plenty of impressive performers, with Jermain Defoe, Connor Goldson and Scott Arfield among the goals.
James Tavernier, though, was the real stand out.

The skipper was involved in all three goals, marauding down the right and sending in menacing crosses.
Tav’s set-piece delivery which Connor Goldson headed beyond Zlamal, was the skipper’s 14th league assist of the season.

Going alongside eleven SPL goals, it’s an incredible return for a full-back.
There’s no doubt he was at fault for Celtic’s winner at the weekend.

However, when he puts in a display like he did tonight, his value to Rangers is unquestionable.

He led by example in what could have been a difficult atmosphere at Ibrox.
