Former Rangers midfielder Ian Black isn’t exactly fondly remembered at Ibrox.
Part of the side that struggled to make it from the Championship to the Premiership, the midfielder was also banned for betting against the Ibrox side whilst he played for them.
Black’s popped up again in an interview with Si Ferry’s Open Goal taking aim at former Rangers boss Stuart McCall, and his comments have been splitting Rangers supporters.

For all the criticism of Black above, some Rangers fans appreciate Black’s honesty.
The midfielder speaks fondly of Rangers in the interview, even if he didn’t perform at Ibrox.
The midfielder also describes Lee Wallace as “the best player” he has played with.

But of-course the stinging criticism of 9 in a Row legend Stuart McCall has most fans outspoken against the midfielder.
Ian Black said he has “no respect whatsoever” for McCall after he told him he wouldn’t play in the 2015 Playoff Final against Motherwell.
The situation was made worse by Black’s family going on holiday without him.

“He’s came over and put the arm round me, no joke, and he’s went: ‘I know you’re going to be disappointed’,” said Black.

“I’ve looked at him and he went: ‘I’m not going to involve you today, I totally understand if you want to take your keys and go home’.
“I went: ‘Are you f****** winding me up you c***?
“‘You brought me here to this game, you spoke to all the senior pros yesterday and told them they didn’t need to come, and you dragged me here knowing that my missus and daughter are on a train to Manchester on their own.”
