Towards the back end of the season, Rangers have really hit their straps.
Gerrard’s side now have six wins in a row and some individuals have really stepped up over that period.
Steven Davis has notched it up a few gears in midfield, while Scott Arfield and Jermain Defoe have been banging in the goals.

However, perhaps the most marked change has come from Jon Flanagan.
With Borna Barisic injured and Andy Halliday suspended, he was given a rare opportunity at left-back against Hearts back in April.
Since then, he hasn’t looked back.
He’s played every minute on this winning streak and looks a totally different player than the one we saw over the first half of the season.
Now, there’s a spring in his step. Confidence is clearly back.

Furthermore, we’re starting to see some of that strong tackling he earned a reputation for at Liverpool.
In the first half of Sunday’s Old Firm, he positively crunched Tom Rogic.
Just like Halliday’s early challenge at Ibrox in December, it laid down a marker in terms of physicality.
It was a battle Celtic simply didn’t fancy and therefore, the Gers dominated from start to finish.
The significance of the challenge wasn’t lost on the Rangers Twitter admin either. The club posted a GIF on Monday afternoon, of Flanagan taking the ball and a significant piece of Rogic, alongside the caption ‘Welcome to Ibrox.’
Safe to say that went down well with Bears. Here’s a selection of reactions:
