Connor Goldson was pictured in Rangers training on Tuesday afternoon.
The vice-captain has been on the treatment table since the squad broke for the winter break, having picked up several knocks over the Christmas period.
He played through the pain to help his team end on a high with a win over Celtic.

That came at a price, though.
He hasn’t been seen since, missing the matches against Kilmarnock, Livingston, Cowdenbeath and St Mirren.
In the defeat to Killie, his absence was particularly felt.

Since then, the combination of Nikola Katic and Joe Worrall has coped pretty well.

Rangers have shipped just one goal in their last three matches and that came from the penalty spot.
However, Aberdeen will present a much stiffer challenge on Wednesday evening.

Goldson and Katic the way forward?

If passed fit, Sam Cosgrove, is a serious threat. The 22-year-old striker has an impressive ten goals in his last eleven appearances in all competitions and Rangers could do with Goldson if they are to nullify his threat.
During Tuesday’s press conference, Steven Gerrard said it was ‘touch and go’ as to whether or not the defender would make it.

However, some Rangers fans were offered renewed hope just hours later, after a series of photos were posted by the official Rangers Twitter account.
There was no confirmation of a return – just the pictures and three hourglass emjois.
This is still being framed as a race against time.
Yet, with Goldson training alongside his teammates, these pictures are surely a good sign.
Certainly, there was plenty of optimism under the tweet and a several calls for a partnership to be renewed between Goldson and fan favourite, Katic.
