Rangers have found it difficult to break down opposition recently.
Wednesday night’s mauling of Kilmarnock, showed that a lot of that was down to missing Alfredo Morelos.

When he’s in the side, the Gers have a potency that they consistently fail to exhibit when he’s absent.
He was raring to go after sitting out the last two games, and his four goal salvo proved just how good he really is.
However, the goals wouldn’t have come if it wasn’t for fantastic service.
That’s something Daniel Candeias has struggled to produce of late.

The Portuguese was very influential earlier in the season, but his contributions in the final third have dipped of late.
Yet, it wasn’t goals, but assists, that he produced last night.
As usual, he linked up well with James Tavernier on the right flank, and crossed to devastating effect on multiple occasions.
Morelos’s first two goals in particular, were put on a plate, while he was also the architect of the third.

It’s a partnership that, when firing, is a sight to behold.
Both players are firm favourite with the fans, so when an image of the pair embracing was posted by the Rangers Twitter account after full-time, some heaped on the praise.
