Rangers fans have responded after the UEFA Europa League Twitter account asked whether or not Alfredo Morelos would get back amongst the goals against Braga.

The 23-year-old forward was a stand out player in the group stages of the competition, scoring against all three opposition sides.

His brace away at Feyenoord was probably the pick of his performances, but he also scored home and away against both Porto and Young Boys, making him the competition’s top goalscorer heading into the knockout stages.

He’s scored six so far in the competition proper, but when you factor in his eight in the qualifying rounds, he’s the only player in the history of European club competition to score 14 goals before Christmas [UEFA.com].

His record is outstanding in anyone’s books, and ahead of the Round of 32 first leg against Braga, the official UEFA Europa League account uploaded footage of the majority of his goals and asked if he’d be back on the scoresheet on Thursday night at Ibrox.

It’s safe to say Bears loved the content and responded accordingly.

Here’s a selection of reactions:

There’s no doubt that the Columbian forward hasn’t quite been himself since the winter break.

After netting 28 in all competitions over the first half of the season, he’s scored just once in six appearances in 2020.

However, he’s been unfortunate to have two goals controversially ruled out in the last two matches, and will be hoping a return to his favourite competition, will bring an upturn in fortunes.
