Rangers secured a fifth consecutive win, defeating Hibernian 1-0 at Ibrox on Sunday afternoon.
It was a first victory of the season against an opponent who had previously frustrated Gerrard’s side both home and away.

There was a very end of season feel for the majority, until a chaotic final ten minutes. Overall, the Gers did just enough.
There was a concerning moment at half-time, though, especially with next weekend’s Old Firm in mind.
Ryan Kent was substituted and replaced by Daniel Candeias.

The Liverpool loanee wasn’t at his liveliest in the first 45 minutes. Yet, he hardly had a shocker, either.

After the substitution took place, the
Sky Sports commentary team claimed Rangers had refused to comment when asked whether or not it was a tactical or enforced change.
If the 22-year-old picked up an injury, it would automatically render him a doubt for the Celtic clash. Given his displays in the last two Old Firms, that would be a big blow for the manager.
Kent ran Mikael Lustig ragged at Ibrox and Parkhead and would be one of the first names on the teamsheet for next weekend.

Consequently, the change sparked some panic amongst Gers fans. Here’s a selection of reactions:
