Rangers fans react as journalist expresses concerns over Ibrox star

Romanian journalist Emanuel Roşu has voiced his concern of Ianis Hagis’ position at Rangers given his recent lack of game-time – but the Ibrox star has seen an overwhelming show of support from Gers fans in response.

Hagi has struggled for minutes recently, despite having created more goals than anyone not named James Tavernier in the Scottish Premiership this season.

The 22-year-old put in a somewhat lacklustre display against Falkirk in the Leagu Cup too, which likely hasn’t helped matters much, but looks to still have a huge part to play in Steven Gerrard’s squad.

The attacker has spoken of the ‘incredible pressure’ to succeed at Ibrox and has shown some glimpses of brilliance during his time in Govan so far.

With Rangers already through to the last 32 of the Europa Leaue ahead of facing Lech Poznan on Thursday night, Hagi seems likely to come into the side for Matchday Six clash in Poland.

After only making his move to Ibrox permanent in the summer, Rangers fans were quick to reassure Roşu that Hagi still has a bright future with the Light Blues as they look to lift the club’s first trophy in a decade.
