As Celtic dropped yet more points against Hibs following the Dubai debacle, ex-Rangers star Kris Boyd couldn’t help but turn the screw.
The former Ibrox forward was on punditry duties for Sky Sports during their coverage of the match and didn’t let up as he let rip amid the fall out from Celtic’s trip to Dubai.

The Parkhead club have one positive Covid-19 case, 13 players and three staff in isolation and are now 21 points behind Rangers in the title race after a disastrous week in the Middle East.
After the match Boyd landed a cheeky dig on a celebrity Celtic fan who regularly gives as good as he gets.
Former politician Tommy Sheridan has made a name for himself in recent seasons by uploading videos in support of Neil Lennon or sarcastically digging Old Firm rivals Rangers.
The most famous of which is a clip from last season wherein Sheridan defends Lennon after the Parkhead club crashed out of the Champions League qualifiers to CFR Cluj [Daily Record].
In the video Sheridan first mutters the immortal term “it’s a disaster, it’s a catastrophe” in his notorious drawl and since then the term has become something of a meme.
Boyd – who has really been enjoying media duties as of late – over emphasised the word “catastrophe” in his coverage and Rangers fans are convinced it’s a cheeky dig at Sheridan:

When Boyd wasn’t aiming digs at prominent Celtic supporters the ex-Rangers striker was also asking pertinent questions over Celtic’s trip to Dubai.
Alongside plenty of Rangers fans, Boyd has asked why one bubble-breaking Celtic player was allowed to play against Hibs.
