On Wednesday afternoon, Rangers officially announced the signing of Jake Hastie.
The 21-year-old winger has put pen to paper on a four-year contract at Ibrox.

The announcement was well received by supporters and marked the end of a protracted transfer saga few could have foreseen at the start of the season.
Hastie has burst on to the scene operating on the right side for Motherwell in 2019.
Physical and pacy, he likes to cut in onto his favoured left foot and has netted an impressive six times in 13 SPL appearances.

His performances proved enough to earn him a
nomination for PFA Young Player of the Year. Ryan Kent, David Turnbull, and Lewis Ferguson have also been nominated.

Of course, Hastie isn’t yet a Rangers player. His Ibrox deal will only come into effect after the expiration of his current contract. Clearly, he’s earned this PFA recognition for his showings for the Fir Park outfit.
Yet, that didn’t stop the Gers’ social media team congratulating the winger on his nomination.
Much to the amusement of many Bears, they gave a shout out to both he and Kent.
