Rangers will play Stranraer at Ibrox in the fourth round of the Scottish Cup after the competition was drawn earlier tonight.
The Scottish Cup draw was made live on the BBC’s Sportscene with popular Rangers supporting personality Grado drawing the Ibrox side out of the hat.
The tie will be played the weekend of the 18th and 19th of January as Rangers look to continue their charge for silverware.
Many of the Ibrox club’s fans might’ve preferred a more glamourous tie, with a trip to Tannadice and Dundee United amongst the most tantalising prospects.
But it wasn’t to be and League One Stranraer will now travel to Ibrox with the full intention of causing a considerable upset.
Rangers will be confident of progressing in the competition with home advantage also being on the Gers side.

Rangers fans weren’t the only ones replying to the draw on Twitter either, or specifically Rangers’ tweet on it.
In the design on the image announcing the fixture, Rangers have used the old Stranraer badge.
It lead the Official Stranraer Twitter account to call the Ibrox side out.
The last time Rangers played Stranraer was in July 25th 2016, when Rangers beat the Dumfries and Galloway side 3-0 in a Scottish League Cup tie.
