Rangers fans have responded to Alfredo Morelos’ social media apology, following the striker’s breach of club discipline.
The 23-year-old arrived back late from a sanctioned trip to Colombia ahead of Saturday’s Scottish Cup quarter-final at Hearts.

His tardy return prompted Steven Gerrard to omit him from the matchday squad for what was a vital game in the club’s season, and the Gers were knocked out after a limp display.
The manager provided further information on Tuesday morning, asserting that the player had received further internal punishment but that he would be available for the upcoming Premiership fixture against Hamilton.
Later that day, Morelos took to his Twitter account with a statement in which he apologised to all connected to the club for his conduct while vowing to show his commitment on the pitch.

While some still clearly harbour an element of resentment, the majority of Bears sent messages of support, saying that they would forgive the forward for his misdemeanour if he started banging in the goals again as he had been during the first half of the season.
Morelos netted 28 club goals before the turn of the year, but only has one in eight since the winter break.
