Rangers fans have raved about Scott Arfield for his strong display during the 2-0 win over Ross County at Ibrox.
The versatile 31-year-old was recalled to the starting XI in the absence of Ryan Jack, who suffered a flare-up of a calf injury during the weekend defeat to Hearts at Tynecastle.
Clearly determined to seize his opportunity, Arfield was a standout performer during an effective, if not overly enthralling team display.

Working alongside Steven Davis and Glen Kamara in midfield, he offered decent control in possession, but most importantly, surged forward to provide support to Jermain Defoe, who had looked too isolated for much of Sunday afternoon’s game.
It was his work ethic in the box which helped to break the deadlock in the 41st minute after he outjumped a Staggies defender and knocked a header into the path of Jermain Defoe, who controlled before firing home on the spin.
Shortly after half-time, he gave his side some breathing space by getting on the scoresheet himself. Making one of those runs from midfield, he got beyond the main striker, and this time Defoe turned provider.
The veteran’s deft flick sent the Canada skipper through on goal and despite the close attentions of two visiting defenders, he kept his cool and slotted past Nathan Baxter.

An influential outing for Arfield, who’s sure to be delighted to be back amongst the goals.
After a 22 game drought earlier in the campaign, he now has three in his last 11 outings.
Plenty of Bears were delighted with his contribution to getting the team back to winning ways and heaped praise on the player on social media.
