Rangers fans have raved about Glen Kamara following his excellent display in the 2-2 draw with Benfica at Ibrox on Thursday night.
With Standard Liege defeating Lech Poznan in the other Group D game, a victory for the Gers would have been enough to see them through to the Round of 32.

Therefore, it’ll be doubly frustrating for the players that they blew a two-goal lead for the second time in three weeks against this opposition, with strikes from Scott Arfield and Kemar Roofe cancelled out by a James Tavernier OG and an excellent finish from substitute, Pizzi.
Steven Gerrard’s side are still well-placed to progress, though, and a draw against a club of the ilk of Benfica is far from a disaster.
There were a number of eye-catching individual displays from those in blue, but perhaps the standout performer in the middle of the park was Glen Kamara.
The 25-year-old has stepped up a level this season and he looked all class in this one.
Kamara played a key role in Roofe’s goal by producing a sublime flick to Borna Barisic in the build-up, but that was far from his only contribution on the night.
He covered close to every blade of grass as he worked tirelessly in attack and defence, while his distribution was tidy and he was typically difficult to shift off the ball.

The Finland international has played the full 90 minutes in all seven of Rangers’ European fixtures so far this season and he looks every inch a top-level player right now.
Plenty of supporters were impressed by Kamara’s performance and took to social media to praise him.
