Rangers fans have raved about Paul Gascoigne after footage of him reflecting on his time at Ibrox was posted by Twitter account WATP.com on the former midfielder’s 53rd birthday.
The iconic English player spent two and a half successful seasons with the Gers after signing from Lazio in 1995.

Gascoigne made a near-instant impact, scoring a spectacular goal in his first Old Firm appearance, and won the hearts of the Gers fanbase by helping to secure two league titles, a Scottish Cup and the League Cup during his stint.
He left to return to England with Middlesborough in early 1998, but in an old interview shared by WATP.com on Twitter on Wednesday, he makes it clear that the Rangers spell featured some of the best times of his career.
“Definitely once a Ranger always a Ranger,” says Gascoigne. “I really really thoroughly enjoyed it.”
“I there was anything I could turn the clock back to, it would be just getting off the aeroplane at Glasgow Airport and joining Glasgow Rangers Football Club.
“I’d do it all over again. I’d do those two years for the rest of my life.”

Gazza’s words, which are accompanied by footage of some of his finest moments in a Rangers jersey, have brought feelings of nostalgia upon plenty Rangers fans, with some declaring it a privilege to have witnessed him in action during his time in Glasgow.
