Rangers fans have raved about Borna Barisic’s display against St Johnstone, with the left-back starring in both attack and defence at Ibrox.
The Gers ran out 3-0 winners against the Saints on Wednesday night to record their third straight victory and go top of the Scottish Premiership on goal difference.

Steven Gerrard selected Alfredo Morelos to spearhead the attack, but it was Barisic who broke the deadlock in the 21st minute.
The Croatian international whipped an inch-perfect free-kick from the right side of the area, over the wall and into the top-right corner, much to the delight of his skipper James Tavernier.
Speaking to RangersTV after the game, his manager labelled it a ‘majestic piece of skill.’

On the stroke of half-time, Barisic played a major role in Rangers’ second goal, too.
After a free-flowing move, the marauding full-back was picked out on the left and took one touch to control before firing a cut-back to Ryan Kent, who finished with aplomb from the penalty spot.
Barisic also did his bit defensively on the night, against a St Johnstone side who threatened on occasion, and his overall performance drew considerable praise from Gers supporters.
