Plenty of Bears have rallied around Rangers following a tweet from a UEFA account and have predicted Europa League progression at the expense of Braga ahead of tomorrow evening’s second leg.
The Gers take a 3-2 lead to Portugal with a spot in the last 16 of the competition serving as motivation.
They were outplayed for parts of the first leg at Ibrox, with Ruben Amorim’s side playing some excellent football.
However, Gerrard’s men finally upped the ante, whipped the crowd into a frenzy and secured a dramatic comeback win.
A damaging Premiership draw against St Johnstone at the weekend hasn’t served as the ideal preparation for this one, especially with Braga resting players and still managing to win their own league fixture.
However, Bears aren’t short of belief and feel that they could get a positive result in Portugal to see them through.
When the official UEFA Europa League Twitter account asked which club would progress to the next round, some fans plucked for Braga. Yet, the majority backed the Light Blues.
At the time of writing, 65.3% of the over 5000 votes had gone to Rangers, while 34.7 had gone to the Portuguese.
