As Rangers toiled to a 2-2 draw against St Johnstone in Perth there were only a few (very faint) bright lights in yet another turgid domestic performance and result.
The introduction of Florian Kamberi turned the game on its head with the on-loan Hibs striker firing an equaliser and producing an amazing turn to tee up the second.
But alongside the Swiss/Albanian forward, it was the man who scored that second goal who also impressed the Rangers support.

Joe Aribo was once again farmed out to left-back, as he was against Braga, and once again the skilful midfielder scored.
Aribo isn’t a defender but he is more than capable of receiving the ball in tight areas and is athletic enough to cover the distance on the pitch.
After Kamberi left St. Johnstone captain Jason Kerr on his backside, he found the marauding Aribo who once again met the ball with a first touch finish.
The big Nigerian is fast becoming one of our most influential players and deserves credit for grabbing the game by the scruff of the neck in his last two appearances.
Here’s how the Rangers fans reacted to Joe Aribo’s performance against St. Johnstone:
