Rangers coach Michael Beale proved he is very much one of the People as the ex-Liverpool, Chelsea and Sao Paulo tactician revealed his new MyGers welcome pack on Twitter.
Upwards of 20k fans have signed up to the Rangers membership programme, which is designed to generate more income for the club whilst offering supporters a range of exciting rewards.
First-team coach Beale signed himself up for the scheme as he also pledges his support and backing to the Ibrox club.

Naturally, it’s drawn a warm response from the Rangers faithful who are very much appreciative of how much the highly-rated coach has embraced the club.
And with one of the bonuses to MyGers membership being a tiered points system where those with more points have easier access to cup finals and semi-finals, it’s had some fans joking that the coach better not get tickets to Hampden ahead of them:

Michael Beale was previously described as the “brains” behind the operation at Rangers by ex-Gers striker Kyle Lafferty.
Speaking on Si Ferry’s Open Goal podcast, the lanky Northern Irishman even suggested he wouldn’t be surprised if Beale stepped up to be manager.
“The longer I was there I started to realise, Michael Beale, I think he’s the man behind it,” said Lafferty.
“No disrespect to Steven Gerrard, because I think he’s an amazing manager, where he has taken the club from day one to now is night and day – he’s made Rangers a force again in Scotland and Europe, but Michael Beale is behind the scenes and I think he’s the brains behind it.
“Tactically he’s amazing.
“I think if Steven Gerrard went – and everyone knows he’s lined up for Liverpool at some stage – if he went to Liverpool and Michael Beale stayed there, I think wouldn’t be a change.

“I think Michael Beale is into everything, detail and he could probably step up to be manager because he’s that good.”
Current Rangers striker Jermain Defoe also talked up Michael Beale in a recent interview with the Beautiful Game podcast, describing the coach as a “genius”.
