Rangers fans have reacted after footage emerged on social media of first-team star Connor Goldson starting a chant outside Ibrox following Saturday’s 3-0 win over St Mirren.
The Gers’ 16th victory from 16 home matches this season moved them to within a point of a 55th top-flight title, which could be secured on Sunday should Celtic fail to beat Dundee United at Tannadice.

The goals came from Ryan Kent, Alfredo Morelos and Ianis Hagi, but the defence played a big part once again with yet another clean sheet.
Steven Gerrard’s side have only conceded two goals all season in the league at Ibrox and Goldson has been key to that record.
The English centre-back has played every minute of every Rangers match in all competitions and became the fastest ever Ger to 150 appearances in midweek.
In James Tavernier’s absence, he’s been standing in as skipper recently and is clearly well respected by his teammates, while he’s won over the section of supporters who doubted him in the past.
He deserves success as much as anyone in the playing group and supporters were delighted to see him in full celebration mode after the game.

The 28-year-old headed towards the Ibrox gates with teammates Leon Balogun, Calvin Bassey, Glen Kamara and Joe Aribo before starting a chant of ‘Glasgow Rangers Champions’.
Supporters enthusiastically followed Goldson’s lead and many others have praised him since the clip emerged on social media.
