Rangers fans have reacted negatively as the third kit has been released for the 2026/27 season.
The Light Blues ended last season on a disappointing note, but a lot has changed since then.
There is a new manager in place, and five players have walked through the door, while a number of players, including James Tavernier, are no longer at the club.
While the supporters are excited for the new season, they are not particularly thrilled with the jersey their team will be wearing in a few matches.

Rangers fans criticise the kit and the condition of the seats
The Rangers social media team decided to be a tad creative and place the third kit on the seats at Ibrox.
However, what they did not foresee was that the fans would be quick to point out just how bad the condition of the seats was.
A number of the seats do not seem to have been painted or repaired for years, and that was easily noticeable from the images.
This is what some of the fans said on X:
@charliechokesj: “The more I see of this, the worse it looks.
@Davidmc50660735: “Would have been better if you actually see the crest in the red lines.”
@rob_wils: “Awful top. Do the club have no say on design?”
@TeamLH44_07: “It’s a shocker lads.”
@KenAdams577686: “That’s shocking.”
@EJbear21: “It looks like towel material.”
@StevenMcLean11: “Dear Rangers. Umbro/castore kit is complete garbage. Please find a way to replace this inept company.”
@sussex_henry: “Up close and from space it is fugly.”
@dannabrown: “Those seats look terrible. Almost as bad as the strip.”
What is your reaction to the new third kit?
It's fair to say a lot of Rangers fans have hated it…
When will Rangers next wear the kit?
The club have released the jersey right before their pre-season games in Spain, so there is a possibility that the players wear it in one of their games.
Alternatively, there are two games at Ibrox, against West Ham and St Etienne, and in one of them, Rangers could don the red and black kit.
The design is certainly an acquired taste, but the club will do the best they can to market it before the season begins.
The sales could increase if fans see the players playing in it at Ibrox, something that would benefit the club.
However, during the main season, it is unlikely that the Gers will wear it for more than two or three games across different competitions.
