Rangers fans have been left frustrated as the new MyGers system for ordering away day tickets failed to deliver for expectant supporters.
MyGers members were invited to join the purchase of matchday tickets for the weekend’s trip to Ross County at staggered times dependent on their bronze, silver or gold status.

However, the fastest finger first model adopted by the club reportedly caused numerous issues for fans who lost out on tickets to different tiers despite their best attempts online.
As the Rangers SLO reiterates:
“Only MyGers Members who are also season ticket holders can purchase domestic away tickets and these will be made available in priority online sales windows on a first-come, first-served basis with each tier receiving their own sales window.”
This has drawn the criticism of plenty of fans who’ve been left decidedly frustrated after appearing to miss out on the trip to Dingwall.
Rangers are in a transitional phase with their ticketing systems and this is the second time in a week issues have come to the fore for supporters.
Rangers apologised to supporters after a transition from paper tickets to QR codes and the reactivating of old smartcards left hundreds of fans locked out of the Champions League qualifying clash with Malmo.
Being fair to the club, the former away CCCS scheme was heavily criticised by supporters and via MyGers, Rangers are clearly going in a different direction.
But this new scheme has come in for criticism due to a lack of functionality whilst for others, the individual nature of ticket purchases could have a longer-term impact on Rangers Supporters Clubs, who would’ve previously received an allocation based on loyalty.
There’s still plenty of time to iron out the deficiencies but it’s clear the current system has plenty of fans frustrated as MyGers comes in for criticism:

The biggest takeaway is that Rangers fans want a greater sense of leadership and accountability when it comes to this process, which it’s widely acknowledged is in its infancy.
