Rangers fans have praised teenage attacker Josh McPake after he netted a brace in a late comeback win over Partick Thistle in the Glasgow Cup on Tuesday evening.
With less than fifteen minutes remaining and the Gers trailing 1-0 at Firhill, McPake stepped up twice with clinical finishes to turn the match on its head.
The youngster appears to be back into the swing of things following a difficult stint with Dundee.
Having joined on loan back in August, McPake made just seven appearances and failed to score in the Scottish Championship, struggling to make an impact after the big leap to senior football.

However, he scored in a Development fixture against Motherwell immediately following his return and this brace has continued a strong start to 2020.
“I’m very pleased,” he told RangersTV after the game. “My confidence was a bit low after the loan spell, I didn’t play as much as I wanted so it was really low.”
“So to get back and get games under my belt, get fitness back and get goals means I’m feeling a lot better about myself.”
It seems many Bears are delighted to have McPake back and firing, with plenty praising him heavily for his contribution.
