On Saturday afternoon, Glen Kamara played his part in a big international win for Finland.
They defeated Bosnia and Herzegovina 2-0 in Helsinki, to go second in Euro 2020 Qualifying Group J.

That’s despite the hosts (60th) being 25 places below the visitors (35th) in the FIFA rankings.
After a cagey first half, Finland asserted themselves in the second to secure the three points. While both goals came from the prolific Teemu Pukki, Kamara delivered yet another impressive display in central midfield.

It was he who registered the assist for the first goal on 56 minutes, too. Although, admittedly, it was a goal of Norwich striker Pukki’s making.
He received the ball from Kamara over 40 yards from goal, feinted past a defender, drove forward and then opened his body to finish impressively from the edge of the area.

The visitors were weakened in the absence of Juventus’ Miralem Pjanic. However, Rangers’ January signing impressed against still strong opposition midfielders including Everton’s Muhamed Besic and Gojko Cimirot of Standard Liege.
Plenty of Rangers fans were
once again impressed by Kamara’s performance. As usual, some pointed to the minuscule £50k fee the club paid Dundee for his services [Daily Record], while others implored the Gers to hold onto him.
That’s amid reported interest from Premier League side Brighton [TEAMTalk]. Graham Potter is said to be a big fan and is keen to bring the 23-year-old to the Amex this summer.
