Rangers fans are getting excited about the prospect of Ianis Hagi joining the Ibrox club in this window.
The highly-rated young Romanian playmaker is the son of Tricolorii legend Gheorghe and is reportedly set to join Rangers on loan from Genk until the end of the season [HLN].
The deal is also said to include an option-to-buy arrangement should the deal work for all parties involved [Scottish Sun].
And whilst the club’s supporters consider the move a major coup for Steven Gerrard’s side, they haven’t missed the attacking midfielder making a massive Scottish footballing faux pas.
Rangers fans have been jokingly condemning the player’s suitcase as reporters met the midfielder once he touched down in Scotland.
The club’s supporters were quick to notice the green cover over Hagi’s suitcase and there’s been plenty of comment on social media.
Make no mistake, should Hagi sign on the dotted line at Ibrox it won’t be long before he learns that blue is the only colour he should be wearing in Glasgow.
Rangers fans have been commenting on Hagi’s suitcase cover choice on Twitter:
No a great start to Hagi's Rangers career, strolling in wae a green suitcase. Should be training with the reserves until his loan is done.

Ianis Hagi, 21, joined Genk in a reported £4m deal last summer and has gone on to make 19 appearances scoring three goals and laying on four assists.
Should Rangers get the deal over the line, it will be considered a major coup for the Ibrox club and a big boost to the chances of Steven Gerrard’s side this season.
